Some American’s from TEAM MINISTRIES in Kansas have been
visiting. They are responsible for the
two shipping containers outside our front door that periodically get filled
with school equipment, which is then distributed to the various PWC schools in
Zambia. They came to see how the work is
going and also to check out the school here to see if it will also be included
in their programme. Included in what
they ship over from the States are reconditioned bikes. One of the team explained to us that these
are for use by teachers, pastors “and people from the UK who are doing a lot of
walking around the communities in order to serve”, so we could choose bikes to
suit us!
We are hugely grateful for this, not so much that it will
save our legs, but it will save a lot of time being able to cycle some of the
long distances we sometimes walk to visit people. It is a real token of God’s goodness to us,
an answer to a prayer that was not even prayed!
